General Installation and Tricks

The capacitive sensing surface performs a quick calibration when powered up. During this calibration, it’s important not to touch the surface. This is why we advise to first plug the USB cable into the Tickle, then the computer or power supply. We also recommend to use a well-shielded USB cable. The Tickle is a USB Audio / MIDI Class Compliant device, and therefore needs no driver installation.
Make sure your audio interface and application are set to 44,1 kHz (or use adaptive resampling).

When using the analog outputs, you need to provide power to the Micro-USB port with a low-noise power supply. If you experience ground-loop issues, hiss or noise with a wall-adapter, try a USB power bank.
