# Where is the plugin installed to?

We follow the standard paths for VST3 plugins [defined by Steinberg](https://developer.steinberg.help/display/VST/Plug-in+Locations). The presets go into a different path, also [defined by Steinberg](https://developer.steinberg.help/display/VST/Preset+Locations).
